Acıbadem Hospital was Mr. Aydınlar’s first step into the health sector in 1991, after beginning his career as a Certified Public Accountant in 1981. He was awarded the Management Excellence Award at The Global Young Entrepreneurship Challenge in 1998. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Social Sciences Institute of Dumlupınar University. He was recognized as the Male Entrepreneur of the Year in the Businessperson of The Year survey conducted by Ekonomist magazine and elected as the Business Manager of the Year by Dünya Newspaper and School of Business, Istanbul University, in 2006. Referans newspaper named Acıbadem Healthcare Group the “Fastest Fish in Turkey” in the same year. Mr. Aydınlar was given The Person Who Makes Most Voluntary Personal Contributions to Healthcare award by Healthcare Volunteers in 2007, 2009, and 2010. He was deemed worthy of the Health Management Honorary Award by Hastane (Hospital) Journal in 2008. Mr. Aydınlar, who was also honored with a TGNA Outstanding Service Award in 2010, was also awarded the Sportsperson of the Year in 2011 for his contribution to sport.

Mrs. Aydinlar graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry, Galatasaray University. She stepped into the healthcare sector with Acıbadem in 1993. Mrs. Aydınlar is still Vice Chairman of the Board of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group.

Bhagat Chintamani Aniruddha (“Chinta Bhagat”) is currently the Manager in Investment, Department of Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”). Chinta, who is the Director of the Mumbai Office, manages the healthcare sector. Chinta worked in the Singapore Office of McKinsey & Company for 14 years, including six years as Managing Partner, prior to his career in Khazanah. Chinta specialized in major investor relations and applications and serves the wealth fund of various countries, private equity firms, and family businesses, but he is also a renowned person in the healthcare sector due to his professional career in various Asian hospitals. Chinta Bhagat formed the institutional management service of McKinsey and managed this operation for a long time. Having worked in various positions in engineering and construction companies in India before joining McKinsey, Chinta was promoted to the CEO position of that company. Chinta Bhagat is also a qualified architect. Moreover, he holds a master’s degree in the business program of the INSEAD Business School.

Takeshi Saito attained his bachelor’s degree in political sciences from the Keito University of Japan. He completed a postgraduate program in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Takeshi Saito spent a large part of his career, which started at Mitsui & Co. in 1995, in the healthcare sector. He was assigned as the head of the pharmaceutical department after two years in the finance department. Following his graduation with his master’s in business administration in 2004, he was the institutional planning director at Mitsui U.S.A., where he managed the sectors of chemistry, natural resources, consumer services, and information technologies. During his assignment in Mitsui U.S.A., he pioneered the foundation of the health department and investment in a leading physician services management company. Takeshi Saito was promoted to manager of strategic planning and business development in the life sciences department (the name was changed to the medical services department in 2008) of Mitsui in 2007. Mr. Saito, who managed investments in one of the largest pharmaceutical chains in Japan during his assignment, also made the 10-year plan for this new department. Being promoted to the position of director in 2009, Mr. Saito managed the investment of IHH, and he was temporarily assigned to the strategic planning department of Parkway Group Healthcare as deputy director. Following his transient assignment in Parkway Group Healthcare, Mr. Saito returned to Mitsui as general manager of service providers in the medical services department, and he was also a board member of IHH and its subsidiaries.

Shirish Moreshwar Apte has extensive experience in the areas of banking and finance. Starting his career as a banker at Citibank India in 1981, he worked on many assignments in London (1993–1997), Poland (1997–2003), London (2003–2009), Hong Kong (2009–2011), and Singapore (2011–2013) as an employee of Citibank/Citigroup. Mr. Apte worked in growing markets, including Middle and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa (CEEMEA), and Asia-Pacific during his 32-year career at Citibank/Citigroup.
Heading the institutional banking and investment banking departments of Citigroup in India, he was CEO of Citibank Poland and became the first regional CEO of CEEMA and Asia-Pacific. Being a member of the administration and operation committees of Citigroup from 2008 to 2012, Mr. Apte also headed the committee of business practices in the group. He was head of the Asia-Pacific banking department when he retired from Citigroup in 2014. Currently, Mr. Apte takes duties on managerial boards, including supervisory boards, of various companies, including Citibank Japan, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Singapore Banking and Finance Institute, and Bank Handlowy Poland.

Mustafa Eröğüt obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Management Concentration, and attended the post-graduate (MBA) program of Business Management, Management Concentration in Sports at Ithaca College, U.S.A. He has been actively working as a senior sports manager and participating in social responsibility projects in sports and youth organizations over the last eight years. Starting his career as an administrative coordinator in the Youth Development Academy of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), Mr. Eröğüt was the administrative director of the professional football team of IBB, assistant supervisor in BAKER TILLY GÜRELY, and director of the football development department and deputy director of the football department in the Turkish Football Federation. Mr. Eröğüt is currently the executive director of the Istanbul Başakşehir Football Club and deputy general secretary of the Turkish Sports Clubs Union. Moreover, he is a member of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee.

Low Soon Teck was a lawyer in a boutique firm in Singapore from 1991–1993, and he focused on corporate and banking laws in that period. Then, he started working for the Kuok/Kerry Group in Hong Kong and held various senior positions, including the China Operation Directorate of SCMP Group that published the South China Morning Post. He was responsible for business development, newspaper printing, circulation operations, and management of a retail store chain. Low Soon Teck returned to Singapore in 2005 and started working as the group financial auditor at Kuok Oils & Grains Pte Ltd. This company merged with Wilmar International Co. Ltd. in 2006. He worked at Wilmar as the treasury director until 2009. Next, he was assigned to PACC Offshore Services Holdings, the offshore navigation branch of the Kuok/Kerry Group, as chief financial officer. He started working in the RCMA Group, a commodity supply chain management firm, as the chief financial officer in 2013 and worked there until 2015. He has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles in finance, law, and general management. Low Soon Teck became the chief financial officer of the IHH Healthcare Berhad Group on 2016. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore and has a master’s degree in business from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.
Rossana Annizah Binti Ahmad Rashid was appointed to the Board of IHH Healthcare Berhad in 2012, and she is a member of the board and board committee of Acıbadem Sağlık Yatırımları Holding A.Ş. (Inc.), which is a partner of IHH. Moreover, she is an independent member of the board of Parkway Trust Management Ltd. (PTM), which is an indirect subsidiary of IHH. PTM manages the Parkway Life Real Estate Investment Trust listed in Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. Ms. Rossana was appointed to the Jardine Matheson Group in Malaysia as country chairperson in 2016, and she is deputy chairperson of the cycle and carriage committee as a non-executive member of the board of Jardine Matheson Companies Group. In addition, she is a member of the investment panel and investment panel risk committee of Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund. She was appointed as a non-executive member of the board of Celcom Axiata Berhad in May 2017.
