Assoc. Prof. Betül Mazlum is a medical doctor and associate professor specializing in neuroscience and neurological sciences with a focus on child and youth mental health. She began advanced graduate training in 2010 at Istanbul University’s Experimental Medicine Research Institute, Department of Neuroscience, as a PhD candidate in Advanced Neurological Sciences. Since 2017 she has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, contributing clinical care and research. Her work bridges clinical practice and evidence-based interventions for developmental and learning-related conditions. She is an active member of professional organizations including the Child and Youth Mental Health Association, the Dyslexia Association, and the Association for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, reflecting her commitment to multidisciplinary care and cognitive-behavioral approaches in pediatric populations.
