Mehmet Ali Aydınlar
Acıbadem Hospital was the first step of Mr. Aydınlar, who began his career as Certified Public Accountant in 1981, into the health sector in 1991. He was awarded “Management Excellence Award” at “Global Young Entrepreneur Businessman Competition” in 1998. He was awarded the title ‘Honorary Doctorate’ by Social Sciences Institute, Dumlupınar University. He was recognized as the “Male Entrepreneur of the Year” in the “Business Person of The Year” Survey conducted by Ekonomist magazine and elected as the “Business Manager of the Year” by Dünya Newspaper and School of Business, Istanbul University in 2006. Referans Newspaper elected Acıbadem Healthcare Group as the “Fastest Fish in Turkey” in the same year. Mr. Aydınlar was given “The Person Who Makes Most Voluntary Personal Contributions to Healthcare” award by Healthcare Volunteers in 2007, 2009 and 2010. He was deemed worthy of “Health Management Honorary Award” by Hastane (Hospital) Journal in 2008. Mr. Aydınlar, who was also honored with TGNA Outstanding Service Award in 2010, also has “Sportsperson of the Year” awarded in 2011 due to his contributions to sports.
Hatice Seher Aydınlar
She was graduated from Faculty of Chemistry, Galatasaray University. She stepped into health sector with Acıbadem Hospital in 1993. Ms. Aydınlar is still Vice Chairman of the Board in Acıbadem Health Group.
Mustafa Eröğüt
Mustafa Eröğüt, who obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Management Concentration and attended post-graduate (MBA) program of Business Management, Management Concentration in Sports in Ithaca College, USA, has been actively working as a senior sports manager and participating in social responsibility projects in sports and youth organizations over the last 8 years. Starting his career as Administrative Coordinator in Youth Development Academy of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), Mr. Eröğüt was the Administrative Director in Professional Football Team of IBB, Assistant Supervisor in BAKER TILLY GÜRELY and Director of Football Development Department and Deputy Director of Football Department in Turkish Football Federation, respectively. Mr. Eröğüt is currently Executive Director of Istanbul Başakşehir Football Club and Deputy General Secretary of Turkish Sports Clubs Union. Moreover, he is a member of UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee.
Dr. Prem Kumar Nair
Dr Prem Kumar Nair was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare on 1 October 2023, where he leads a team of more than 70,000 employees to realise IHH’s vision to be the world’s most trusted healthcare services network. Dr Nair sets the strategic direction for the sustainable growth of IHH’s global network which today comprises more than 80 hospitals in 10 countries. Guided by its Care. For Good. aspiration, Dr Nair continues to build on the IHH portfolio of strong and reputable brands including Acibadem, Mount Elizabeth, Prince Court, Gleneagles, Fortis, Pantai and Parkway – to touch lives and transform care globally. Prior to his Group CEO appointment, he was CEO of IHH Singapore, where he oversaw the operations and management of IHH’s business units in the country and played an instrumental role in its strategic business growth and outreach efforts in overseas markets. Dr Nair is a physician and healthcare executive with over three decades of experience in both public and private healthcare sectors. He was with Raffles Medical Group for 27 years, where he held concurrent roles as Chief Corporate Officer, and Managing Director for Singapore Healthcare. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore’s Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. An active community citizen, Dr Nair was a recipient of the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) and the Public Service Star (Bintang Bakti Masyarakat) at the 2010 and 2022 National Day Awards respectively, for his contributions to the Singapore Prison Service. He is also a Justice of the Peace.
Yoichiro Endo
Appointed to the Board of IHH Healthcare Berhad (IHH) in April 2024, Mr Yoichiro Endo is the Executive Managing Officer & Chief Operating Officer of the Wellness Business Unit at Mitsui & Co., Ltd (Mitsui) in its Tokyo Headquarters. Mr Endo has over 30 years of working experience in Mitsui, mainly in the food business, the buyout fund, and the venture capital investment field. He has held various executive roles in Mitsui and Mitsui’s key subsidiaries. Most recently, he served as the Managing Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Food Business Unit since April 2020 and was promoted to Executive Managing Officer in April 2023. In the field of food business, he managed various trading and investment projects such as grain, oil and fats, sugar, animal protein, aquaculture, dairy products, coffee and tea, pulses and staple food. Between 2007 to 2011, he was involved in launching a buyout fund and served as Chief Executive Officer of Mitsui & Co. Principal Investments Ltd, which has now become a prominent buyout fund in Japan. He worked in the United States between 1991 and 2004, where he established a corporate venture capital arm of Mitsui and served as CEO of Mitsui & Co. Venture Partners, Inc., from 2001 to 2004, after having worked for Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc. and Orien Ventures, Inc (Venture Capital, USA). He led startup investment projects, especially in IT, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
Ashok Pandit
Mr Ashok Pandit, appointed as Group Chief Corporate Officer of IHH on 1 April 2024, is responsible for reshaping IHH’s portfolio to preserve, capitalise and create value-added opportunities in existing and new markets. He oversees corporate functions such as innovation, group strategy, business development, investments, performance management, IHH Labs and other functions as required to ensure the organisation’s continued success in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Mr Pandit joined IHH in May 2021 as Group Chief Special Projects Officer, with over 28 years of investment banking experience in Asia Pacific. In August 2021, he took on an enlarged portfolio as Group Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer overseeing special projects, business strategy and business development. Before joining IHH, he was Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Sovereign Wealth and Pension Funds and Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage (Asia Pacific) at Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore. During his 15-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, Mr Pandit held senior investment banking positions, advising leading global institutions and corporations on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and advisory and capital restructuring. He led deals that raised over US$100 billion in the capital markets and was a key player in IHH’s US$2 billion IPO in 2012, which was ranked the world’s third largest IPO of the year.

Turkey’s first accredited clinical laboratory
Acıbadem Healthcare Group has forged a significant partnership in reference laboratory services with the Labmed Group (Labmed Dortmund GmbH), which has been active in Germany for over 30 years. As a result of this partnership, the accredited laboratory service, which used to be obtained from abroad, began to be offered by Acıbadem Labmed in Turkey. Acıbadem, with its proven quality of service and its global certifications, has proven its quality in laboratory services as well with the award of the clinical laboratory accreditation ISO 15189 by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle Chemie Gmbh (DACH) to Labmed Clinical Laboratory. Labmed became Turkey’s first internationally recognized and accredited clinical laboratory. Acıbadem Labmed has the facilities to perform all analyses at the highest level and in the safest way.

LabCell
The Acıbadem Stem Cell and Umbilical Cord Blood Bank is a storage and production laboratory where Acıbadem Healthcare Group’s conducts research on prospective therapy methods, keeping up with and building on current applications. The laboratory can store all tissues proven to be viable with scientific data and conduct all therapeutic cell processes while meeting good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards. Umbilical cord blood banking is the most common type of cell and tissue storage (banking).

Acıbadem Technology is a technological company that began operating in 2015. Acıbadem Technology offers its services, experiences, and products to markets inside and outside of Turkey. Major products provided by Acıbadem Technology include Cerebral Plus (hospital information system), Astore (medication and medical consumables management system), Lab Assistant (laboratory information system), and Acıbadem Online (patient portal).
Acıbadem Technology also provides IT project management, software and infrastructure consultancy. Acıbadem Technology, a service and product provider, offers its services in 10 cities in Turkey and beyond to a total of 21 hospitals, 16 outpatient clinics, various affiliated companies, and a university (Acıbadem University).
APlus
APlus was founded on the principle that a hospital is essentially a hotel where healthcare services are provided. It contains catering, hygiene, shipment and similar healthcare organizational needs under a single roof.
APlus is one of the first implementers of the cook and chill mass meal production industry. The cook and chill method of cooking offers a level of safety significantly above today’s mass production conventions. It is based on the products being rapidly cooled (in 90–120 minutes) to 0–4°C and stored at this temperature with the European gastronomy technique, and then only being heated at the service point.
APlus, which owns one of the largest launderettes in Turkey, offers hygienic laundering, standard laundering, and dry-cleaning services with a daily capacity of 15,000 kg. At the facility, which is Turkey’s only hygienic laundry factory, 600 kg of laundry are ironed, folded, and stacked per hour with the flatwork ironer, which can iron and fold.
Aplus works with the EU’s Healthguard system to offer comprehensive cleaning and disinfection. The system is developed for hospitals and healthcare organizations and minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

Acıbadem Mobile was founded in July 2008 as a subsidiary of Acıbadem Healthcare Group. In addition to coordinating all the ambulance operations for Acıbadem, Acıbadem Mobile acquired a home care license in 2009 and an occupational safety and health license in 2012 to improve its ability to bring healthcare to patients pre- and post-hospitalization.
Today, Acıbadem Mobile provides emergency land and air ambulance services and home care services for both Acıbadem and non-Acıbadem patients. Acıbadem Mobile also manages more than 150 projects for corporate companies, including helpline, medical coaching, 7/24 emergency ambulances, blood sample drawing, and other employee benefit programs.
