Prof. Ilgaz Doğusoy is a thoracic surgeon with deep expertise in chest, heart and vascular surgery. He completed specialized thoracic surgery training in 1990 at M.D. Siyami Ersek Chest, Heart and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital. Since 2020 he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, contributing advanced surgical care and clinical leadership. A committed member of the professional community, he holds memberships in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery, and the European Society for Paediatric Surgery (ESPS). He is also a founding member of the Turkish Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery Association and is involved with the Society of Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery. His career combines surgical skill, minimally invasive technique advocacy, and active participation in national and international surgical societies.
