Acibadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center

Located in Sofia and accredited by the JCI, Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center opened in 2012.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center also serves as a teaching hospital for St. Clement Ohridzki Sofia University and the Medical University in Varna.

With the acquisition of City Clinic Group and Tokuda Group by Acıbadem Healthcare Group in 2016, Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center began operating in collaboration with all departments of Acıbadem Hospitals in five countries.

4,000 m² Indoor Area
Located in a 4,000 m² building on the southern side of the Sofia ring road, the hospital has a capacity of 64 beds and five operating rooms, two of which are dedicated to cardiac surgery. The other two operating rooms are used for general and vascular surgery.

The intensive care unit contains a total of 20 intensive care beds, 14 for cardiovascular surgery and 6 for coronary care.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center has two catheterization laboratories. The hospital performs interventional (minimally invasive) procedures.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center’s medical devices include a 3 Tesla MRI, EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), Digital Angiography (DSA), and Whole Body MRI.

Acıbadem City Clinic Cardiovascular Center employs more than 350 people, 120 of whom are physicians.

The hospital fosters multidisciplinary collaboration across medical specialties. The hospital’s cardiac and vascular teams include endovascular specialists, invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, angiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, nurse practitioners, cardiac nurses, and pharmacists, and operate with a multidisciplinary approach.

The hospital also offers outpatient services in Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, and Urology.
