Fast computerized tomography with a low dose of radiation

Flash CT is a radiologic diagnosis device which can scan lungs and heart quickly and uses low radiation dose. Many body parts, especially including heart and lungs, are scanned with Flash CT. Patient lies down on the moving part of the device. In some cases, patients may be asked to hold their breath, but the scanning period is very short, as the scanner acquires images very quickly. This feature allows ease of use in imaging of coronary arteries in cardiac check-up programmes. It can complete a cardiac angiogram in 0.25 seconds and a lung scan in 0.6 seconds without the need of holding breath. It allows low-dose conservative examinations for highly radio-sensitive body parts, such as breast, gonads and thyroid gland. The large-bore patient bed of Flash CT (78cm in diameter) is helpful for patients with claustrophobia and obesity. It allows scanning children and trauma patients with a very short scan time and thus, it ensures timely intervention. Fill out the form below for your information requests
