Prof. Ahmet Demirkaya is a thoracic surgeon with a medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, where he completed his thoracic surgery training in 2005. He brings years of clinical expertise to his role at Acibadem Health Group, where he has been practicing since 2020. M.D. Demirkaya is actively involved in the professional community and holds memberships in several national and international societies, including the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery, the Lung Cancer Association of Turkey, the Turkish Thoracic Society, the Respiratory Research Society of Turkey, and the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons. His work focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of thoracic diseases, with particular interest in lung cancer and advancing thoracic care through clinical practice and collaboration.
