Prof. Elif Akpek is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Reanimation with a strong clinical and academic background. She completed her medical education and specialization at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, attaining professorship in 2011. Since 2009 she has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where she contributes to patient care, teaching, and departmental leadership. Her professional interests include cardiothoracic anesthesiology and transplantation, and she is actively involved in resuscitation and perioperative medicine. She maintains memberships in several national and international professional organizations, including the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, the Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation Specialists, the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists (EACTA), The Transplantation Society, the Resuscitation Association, and the Turkish Medical Association.
