Assoc. Prof. Emel Kabakoğlu Ünsür is a pediatrician and researcher with a PhD in Social Pediatrics from Erciyes University Institute of Health Sciences (2019). She brings clinical and academic experience to her current role at Acıbadem Health Group, where she joined in 2025. Her work focuses on child health within social contexts, combining clinical care with research and advocacy to improve pediatric outcomes. She is an active member of the Turkish Pediatric Association, the Social Pediatrics Association, and the Turkish Medical Chamber.
