Prof. Nigar Baykan is an experienced anesthesiologist and critical care specialist with a medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (1990) in Anesthesiology and Reanimation. Since 2004, she has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where she applies her expertise in perioperative anesthesia and intensive care management. Her professional interests include cerebrovascular interventions and advanced nutrition support. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Carotid and Vertebral Artery Transluminal Angioplasty Study group, the Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Association, the Society of Neurosurgical Anesthesia and Critical Care, and the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. Her combined clinical experience and society involvement support high standards of patient care in anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, and critical nutrition therapies.
