The system merges MRI data and breast sonogram that is obtained to guide biopsy procedure in three-dimensional format. Carcinogenic lesions are detected through navigation feature. It is used for early diagnosis of prostate cancer. The system identifies the lesion with higher risk of tumor in a patient with an abnormal finding in prostate and thus, such high-risk lesions are biopsied. This modality detects tumors that should be treated very precisely relative to conventional biopsy. First, MRI is scanned for patients with risk of prostate cancer. Suspicious areas are marked on these images. Next, prostate gland is imaged with sonography and finally, MRI data is merged with ultrasound images. Accordingly, a detailed and three-dimensional ultrasound and MRI image is created. Consequently, cancerous tissue in the prostate gland is biopsied under guidance of a somewhat “navigation.” Fill out the form below for your information requests
