Prof. Ahmet Akyol is an experienced cardiologist with a strong background in clinical practice, education, and cardiac research. He completed advanced training at the Siyami Ersek Chest, Heart and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, earning his associate professorship in 2008. Since 2009 he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, contributing to patient care and multidisciplinary cardiac services. His clinical interests span interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, arrhythmia management, pacemaker and electrophysiology procedures, and heart failure. He is an active member of several professional societies and working groups, including the Turkish Society of Cardiology (TKD) Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Imaging, Arrhythmia/Pacemaker/Electrophysiology, and Heart Failure Working Groups, as well as the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and the European Society of Cardiology. Prof. Akyol combines clinical expertise with collaborative work in national and international cardiology communities to improve patient outcomes and advance the field.
