Prof. Sinan Dağdelen, MD

Prof. Sinan Dağdelen, MD is a cardiologist at Acibadem Altunizade Hospital in İstanbul, where he works in the Cardiology Department. His published work includes articles on transradial coronary procedures, percutaneous mitral valve repair with MitraClip, and prophylactic implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.

Clinical focus

A large part of Dr. Dağdelen’s practice concerns coronary artery disease, including percutaneous coronary intervention and chronic total occlusion procedures. He also evaluates and manages hypertension and heart failure, and follows patients with myocarditis. In the field of heart rhythm, his work includes atrial fibrillation and pacemaker implantation.

Structural and valvular heart conditions form another area of his work. He assesses heart murmurs and heart valve disease, including mitral valve regurgitation, and performs transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) in suitable patients.
