Prof. Alper Özkan is an associate professor of medicine with a focus on cardiology and cardiovascular imaging. He earned his associate professorship from Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group since 2015. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Echocardiography, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, the European Society of Cardiology and its Valvular Heart Disease Working Group, the Turkish Society of Cardiology, and the Turkish Medical Association. His work centers on echocardiography, valvular heart disease, and advanced cardiac imaging, combining clinical practice with academic leadership.
