Prof. Ayşe Öner is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a medical degree from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine (2002). She has advanced clinical experience in retinal and vitreoretinal disorders and has been part of the Acıbadem Health Group since 2016. Her professional focus includes medical retina care, vitreoretinal surgery, and electrodiagnostic assessment. She is an active member of national and international ophthalmology organizations: Turkish Ophthalmology Association (Çukurova Branch), TOD Vitreoretinal Surgery Unit, TOD Medical Retina Unit, TOD Electrodiagnostic Unit, EURETINA, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. These memberships reflect her commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing education, and collaborative care in retinal disease management.
