Prof. Banu Coşar is a cornea and refractive surgery specialist with advanced training from Wills Eye Hospital (Jefferson University) in Philadelphia, where she completed a senior residency in the Cornea Service in 2001. She has been part of the Acıbadem Health Group since 2007, contributing clinical expertise in corneal disease, cataract and refractive procedures, and contact lens practice. An active member of professional societies, she participates in the Turkish Ophthalmology Association’s Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Contact Lens units, and is affiliated with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Her background combines international training and long-term clinical experience in advanced anterior segment care.
