Prof. Berna Özkan is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases. She earned her medical degree from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and has since built a career focused on advanced retinal care. Currently affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2017, Prof. Özkan provides expert diagnosis and treatment for complex retinal conditions, combining surgical skill with the latest medical therapies. An active member of the international retina community, she holds memberships in the European Vitreoretinal Society and the American Society of Retina Specialists, and is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association. Her clinical practice emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based treatment, and ongoing professional development to bring state-of-the-art retinal care to her patients.
