Prof. Burak Tander is a pediatric surgeon with long-standing clinical and academic experience. He completed his pediatric surgery training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 1997 and has been associated with Acıbadem Health Group since 2018. His practice focuses on minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques in children, and he is active in advancing pediatric surgical care through both clinical work and professional collaboration. He is a member of several leading surgical societies, including the British Society for Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery, European Society of Pediatric Surgery, World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons, International Pediatric Endoscopy Group, and the Turkish Pediatric Surgery Association.
