Prof. Canan Ayabakan is a pediatric cardiologist with extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to congenital heart care. She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2001, specializing in pediatric cardiology. Since 2021 she has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where she provides comprehensive cardiac care for infants, children, and adolescents, with expertise in diagnosing and managing congenital and acquired heart conditions. An active member of the professional community, she belongs to the Turkish Society of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery and the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Society. Her work bridges pediatric and adult congenital cardiology, emphasizing continuity of care and evidence-based treatment. Known for a patient-centered approach, she focuses on clear communication with families and multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
