Prof. Çiğdem Ünal Gülmeden is a board-certified plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon with a medical degree and specialty training completed at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Since 2014 she has been practicing at Acibadem Health Group, where she provides a full range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures with an emphasis on breast and microsurgical techniques. She is an active member of multiple professional societies, including the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery—where she served as Secretary of the Qualification Board (2012–2014) and Secretary of the Breast Study Group (2010–2011). Her memberships also include the Turkish Reconstructive Microsurgery Society, the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery (EFSM), and the Breast Surgery Association. Her practice combines evidence-based surgical care, attention to aesthetic detail, and dedication to patient-centered outcomes, supported by ongoing involvement in professional organizations and collaborative clinical work.
