Cem Öz, MD

After a year in emergency medicine at Private İbn-i Sina Hospital in Osmaniye, he trained as a Research Assistant Doctor at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Isparta from 2005 to 2011 and completed his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Süleyman Demirel Faculty of Medicine in 2011. He then worked as a Specialist Physician Lieutenant at Ankara GATA Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and, in 2013, undertook hand surgery subspecialty training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Ibni Sina Hospital Department of Orthopedics Hand Surgery. His subsequent specialist appointments include Şırnak Cizre State Hospital, Şırnak State Hospital, Adana Çukurova Aşkım Tüfekçi State Hospital, Adana Seyhan State Hospital, Başkent University Adana Dr. Turgut Noyan Application and Research Center, Adana City Training and Research Hospital and Private İstanbul Medipol Hospital, as well as a Doctor Faculty Member position at Bahçeşehir University Medical Park Göztepe Hospital Complex from 2022 to 2024. He is a member of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and the İstanbul Medical Chamber.

Clinical focus

In breast surgery, Dr. Öz evaluates and treats patients seeking breast augmentation or breast reduction, and his practice includes the assessment of breast conditions and care related to breast cancer. He also plans combined body procedures such as the mommy makeover, where the suitability of each component is discussed individually with the patient.

How Dr. Öz works with international patients

Dr. Öz consults in Turkish and English, and interpreters can be arranged for other languages. The international patient team coordinates the collection of prior reports and imaging, such as ultrasound, MRI or CT reports, laboratory and pathology results, operative notes and discharge summaries, and arranges appointments and the hospital visit. A first consultation typically covers the patient’s history and symptoms, a review of existing imaging and previous treatments, a clinical examination and a discussion of the available options.
