Gülfer Mehtap Yazicioğlu

Prof. Gülfer Mehtap Yazicioğlu is a Professor of Child Health and Diseases with a longstanding commitment to pediatric care and allergy/immunology. She earned her professorship in Child Health and Diseases in 2004 and brings extensive clinical and academic experience to her work. In 2023 she joined Acibadem Health Group, contributing her expertise to one of the region’s leading healthcare institutions. Her professional interests focus on pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunologic disorders. She is an active member of several national and international organizations, including the National Pediatric Association, the National Society of Allergy and Immunology, the Pediatric Allergy and Asthma Academy, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. These memberships reflect her dedication to staying current with advances in care and to collaborating with peers to improve outcomes for children with allergic and immunologic conditions. Professor Yazicioğlu is known for combining evidence-based practice with compassionate care, mentoring young clinicians, and participating in professional activities that advance pediatric allergy and immunology.
