Prof. Mehdi S. Öğüt is a professor of ophthalmology with a long-standing clinical and academic career. He earned his ophthalmology credentials at Marmara University in 1987 and has since established himself as a respected specialist in the field. Since 2000 he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, contributing to patient care, surgical practice, and clinical leadership. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Ophthalmology Association. His international engagements include membership in the European Strabismological Association (ESA), the International Strabismological Association (ISA), European Vision and Eye Research (EVER), and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
