Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Ahmet Karakaya is an experienced anesthesiologist and intensivist. He earned his medical degree and completed specialty training in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. Since 2022 he has been practicing with the Acibadem Health Group, where he provides perioperative anesthesia care and manages critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. His clinical interests include advanced regional anesthesia techniques, perioperative pain management, and critical care medicine. He is an active member of professional societies that support clinical excellence and ongoing education: the Turkish Intensive Care Association, the Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, The European Society of Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Therapy (ESRA), and the Association of Regional Anesthesia. Known for a patient-centered approach and collaborative teamwork, he combines evidence-based practice with compassionate care to improve outcomes for surgical and critically ill patients.
