Assoc. Prof. Selçuk Görmez is Head of the Department of Cardiology at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine, a position he has held since 2024. He trained in cardiology at M.D. Siyami Ersek Chest, Heart and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital, completing his cardiology education in 1997. A dedicated clinician and educator, he is active in both clinical practice and academic leadership. He holds fellow status with the European Society of Cardiology (FESC, 2007) and maintains professional engagement through memberships in several major societies, including the European Society for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions, the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), the European Heart Failure Society, and the Turkish Society of Cardiology.
