Prof. Cihan Aksoy is a dedicated physician and leader in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and manual medicine. He completed Manual Medicine training in 2017 under FIMM Trainer Marc Henry-Gouchart and has since combined clinical practice with organizational leadership to advance complementary and supportive therapies. He serves at Acibadem Health Group (since 2023) and has played a central role in founding and leading numerous professional organizations. He is President and Founding Member of the Basic Complementary and Supportive Medicine Association (TETAD) and the Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Manual Medicine Association. He helped establish the Cranio‑Maxillo‑Facial and Maxillofacial Joint Rehabilitation Association and the Movement System Diseases Association, and he was a former president and founding member of the Turkish Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Association. He also served on the Board of Directors and as a founding member of the Turkish Pain Society. Prof. Aksoy contributes to standards and accreditation in his field as a member of the Turkish Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Qualification Board (Turkish FTR Board) Accreditation Board. His career blends clinical expertise, education, and strong institutional involvement to improve patient care and professional development in rehabilitation and manual medicine.
