We had a patient who experienced two relapses of ALL. After the second relapse, we told her, “We can cure you, but it will be a long fight. We have to struggle together.” And we did. After her second stem cell transplantation, she recovered. Now she has grown up and become a teacher. She even sent us photos of herself with her students. Seeing that is the most precious gift we could ever receive from a patient.
