Prof. Banu Atalar is a radiation oncology specialist with a strong academic and clinical background. She earned her professorship at Acibadem University in 2018 after serving as an associate professor there since 2013. Her work spans patient care, teaching, and research in therapeutic radiology. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Society of Radiation Oncology, ESTRO (European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology), ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) — where she also contributes as a member of the International Affairs Advisory Group — IASLC (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer), and the Rare Cancer Network (RCN).
