Prof. Nihat Yavuz graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1993, specializing in General Surgery. Since 2008 he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where he provides surgical care and contributes to clinical leadership and training. He is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the National Surgical Association, Turkish Cancer Society, Endocrine Surgery Society, Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, National Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery Society, and the International Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgery. He also holds membership in the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Hernia Association, and the Forensic Medicine Institute. His practice emphasizes evidence-based surgical techniques, minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches, and multidisciplinary care for patients with general, endocrine, colorectal, and hernia-related conditions. He is committed to advancing surgical practice through education, research, and professional collaboration.
