Türker Ertürk, MD

His published work includes case reports on small bowel obstruction due to a metachronous tumor, internal supravesical hernia, duodenal stromal tumor and inflammatory fibroid polyp causing small bowel invagination, as well as studies on urinary trypsinogen-2 measurement in acute pancreatitis, diabetic foot education, a survey of resident physicians in Turkey and reasons for non-vaccination during national immunization days.

Clinical focus

Dr. Ertürk’s surgical practice covers a range of abdominal wall, gastrointestinal and endocrine conditions. He treats inguinal hernia and manages small bowel cancer, a diagnosis that is reflected in several of his published case reports on small bowel obstruction and intestinal tumors. His proctology work includes the assessment and treatment of anal fissure and haemorrhoid surgery.

He also performs thyroid surgery for patients whose thyroid conditions require an operation, and his areas of expertise include kidney transplantation.
