Prof. Volkan Özben is a general surgeon with a strong focus on minimally invasive and colorectal surgery. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and began his professional career serving with Acibadem Health Group in 2012. His clinical interests include endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques, colorectal disease management, and advancing surgical care through evidence-based practice. He is an active member of professional societies that reflect his commitment to surgical excellence and continuing education, including the Turkish Surgical Association, the Turkish Medical Association (Istanbul Medical Chamber), the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and the National Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery Society. Known for combining technical skill with patient-centered care, Prof. Özben participates in multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, modern surgical treatment and to mentor the next generation of surgeons.
