Prof. Alper Kaya is an orthopedic surgeon and associate professor specializing in orthopedics and traumatology. He earned his medical education at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine and completed advanced training in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, achieving the rank of Associate Professor in 2011. Since 2012 he has been affiliated with the Acibadem Health Group, where he continues clinical practice, surgical care, and academic work. His clinical interests include orthopedic trauma, sports injuries, arthroscopy, knee surgery, and joint replacement. He is active in pediatric orthopedics as well as adult reconstructive and trauma care. Prof. Kaya is a dedicated member of numerous professional societies, including the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council, the Turkish Society of Sports Injuries, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery, the Orthopaedic Trauma and Arthroplasty branches of the Turkish Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association, the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the Pediatric Orthopedics Association, and the Turkish Medical Association. He combines clinical expertise with ongoing involvement in professional education and research to improve patient outcomes in orthopedic care.
