Assoc. Prof. Barış Görgün is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology. He earned his medical degree and completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2016. Since 2018 he has been practicing with Acıbadem Health Group, where he focuses on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents, as well as managing traumatic injuries. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Child Orthopedics Association (COD), the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association (TOTDER), the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTBİD), the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), and the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS). His clinical work combines evidence-based care with a patient-centered approach, emphasizing minimally invasive techniques, functional recovery, and long-term growth-friendly treatment plans for young patients.
