Assist. Prof. Tarkan İkizoğlu is a pediatrician with a medical degree from Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine (2004). He completed pediatric training and has been practicing since 2009 at Acıbadem Health Group, where he focuses on comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents, including emergency and intensive care scenarios. He serves as an assistant professor and brings experience in acute pediatric management, patient-centered family communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration. His clinical interests include pediatric emergency medicine, intensive care, and improving outcomes for critically ill children. He is an active member of the National Pediatric Association, the Pediatric Emergency and Intensive Care Association, and the Turkish Medical Association. Fluent in clinical practice and academic activities, he contributes to education, training, and quality improvement initiatives in pediatric care.
