UFUK AYDINLI

Prof. Ufuk Aydınlı is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery, with a medical degree and specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology from Ondokuz Mayıs University (1984). He currently practices at Acıbadem Ataşehir Hospital (2023). Throughout his career he has held numerous national and international leadership roles in spine education and professional organizations. He served as President of the Spine Expert Group (2010) and chaired AOSpine Turkey (2007–2010). Internationally, he was an AO International Trustee (2015–2019) and contributed to AOSpine in several capacities, including member of the International Education Committee (2010–2013), member of the International Core Curriculum Committee (2010–2013), and Europe Education (Orthopedics) Chairperson (2010–2013). He continues to advise AOSpine Europe on educational matters (2013–present). His long-standing memberships reflect deep engagement with the global spine community, including the Spine Society of Europe and the Scoliosis Research Society. Nationally, he has been active in the Turkish Spine Surgery Society since 1991, serving on its board (1999), as President of the Educational Committee (2003), and later as President of the Society. Prof. Aydınlı is recognized for his commitment to surgical excellence, spine education, and international collaboration in advancing spine care.
