Prof. Ahmet Tulga Ulus is a seasoned cardiovascular and vascular surgeon with a long-standing commitment to clinical excellence, education, and professional leadership. Appointed Professor in 2014, he brings extensive experience in advanced vascular and cardiothoracic care, currently affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group since 2020. His professional roles have included national and international leadership positions across multiple specialty societies. He served on the Board of the National Society of Vascular Surgery (2004–2008) and has held roles on advisory and governing boards within European surgical organizations, including the European Society for Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery (Advisory Board member since 2011; Board member since 2013). He is also active in the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) and the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS). Additional memberships reflect a broad clinical and academic scope: Phlebology Association, Turkish Society of Thoracic, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, European Society of Surgical Research, Turkish Society of Cardiology, and the Regenerative Medicine Association (Board member since 2010). Prof. Ulus combines clinical practice, research, and society leadership to advance vascular and cardiovascular care and mentor the next generation of specialists.
