Prof. Burak Pamukçu is a cardiologist and associate professor with a long-standing commitment to clinical excellence, research, and education. He earned his associate professorship in 2011 and currently practices at Acıbadem Health Group since 2018. His work focuses on advancing cardiovascular care through both patient-centered practice and involvement in professional societies. Active in numerous national and international organizations, he holds memberships in the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology and several of its working groups (including the Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology and the Working Group on Thrombosis), the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions, the European Atherosclerosis Society, the World Heart Failure Society, the Thrombosis Working Group, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Southern Medical Association. These affiliations reflect his broad interests in atherosclerosis, vascular biology, interventional cardiology, heart failure, thrombosis, and cardiac imaging. He combines clinical practice with academic activity, contributing to multidisciplinary efforts to improve prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Colleagues and patients know him for his evidence-based approach, collaborative mindset, and focus on high-quality care.
