Prof. Agop Çıtak is a pediatric intensivist with specialized training from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, where he completed pediatric intensive care in 2011. He has clinical experience with Acıbadem Health Group and a strong background in critical care for children. He is an active member of national and international professional societies, including the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care. Locally, he participates in the Turkish Pediatric Association, the National Pediatric Association of Turkey, the Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Association, the Intensive Care Society for Internal and Surgical Sciences, the Intensive Care Association, the Turkish Medical Chamber, and the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Alumni Association. His work focuses on delivering high-quality pediatric intensive care, improving emergency and critical care practices for children, and contributing to professional collaboration and education within pediatric critical care networks.
