Assoc. Prof. Emel Ur Özçelik is a board-certified neurologist with a strong clinical and academic background in headache, pain, and neurophysiology. She completed neurology training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 2009 and currently practices with Acıbadem Health Group since 2024. Her clinical interests include migraine and other primary headache disorders, pain management, and clinical electrophysiology (EEG/EMG). She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Headache Society (IHS), the Global Migraine and Pain Association working group, the Clinical Electroneurophysiology (EEG-EMG) Society, the Turkish Society for the Fight against Epilepsy, the Turkish Neurology Association, and the Headache and Pain Research Association working group. These affiliations reflect her commitment to advancing care through clinical practice, research collaboration, and continued professional development.
