Prof. Mehmet Akif Özdemir is a pediatric hematology and oncology specialist with a strong clinical and academic background. He completed his medical training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Since 2016, he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where he provides comprehensive care for children with blood disorders and cancer. He is actively involved in professional and community organizations. He holds membership in the Kayseri Medical Chamber of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and is a member of the Turkish Pediatric Hematology Association, the Turkish Hematology Association, and the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group. He has served as President of the Kayseri Branch of the National Pediatric Association and leads the Germir Culture and Solidarity Association. Prof. Özdemir is known for combining clinical expertise with community service, working to improve pediatric hematology and oncology care regionally and nationally.
