Prof. Serkan Erkanlı is Head of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology Surgery at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. He holds the 2023 European Gynecological Oncology Certificate (ESGO Professional Recognition), reflecting advanced training and recognition in gynecological oncology. With a clinical focus on surgical management of gynecologic cancers and minimally invasive and robotic techniques, he leads multidisciplinary care and surgical education programs. His responsibilities include directing surgical services, mentoring trainees, and advancing best practices in oncologic gynecology. An active member of national and international professional societies, he contributes to the field through the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Society of Gynecologic Oncology (TRSGO), the Cervical Pathologies and Colposcopy Society, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO), the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS), the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Society, the Minimally Invasive Gynecology Society, the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Oncology Society, and the Robotic Surgery Association. Prof. Erkanlı is committed to improving outcomes for patients with gynecologic cancers through evidence-based surgical care, innovation in minimally invasive and robotic approaches, and training the next generation of specialists.
