He served as President of the Muğla Gynecology Association from 2011 to 2013 and is a member of the Gynecological Endoscopy Association, the Turkish Gynecology Association, the Muğla Medical Association and the Turkish Medical Association. He also sits on the Ministry of Health Health Tourism Legislation Regulation Board. His co-authored publications include work on cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and human papilloma virus infection in renal transplant recipients receiving immunosuppressive therapy, elemental variation in preeclampsia, and a series of 344 cases of endometrial hyperplasia.

Clinical focus

Dr. Ateş evaluates and treats a range of gynecological conditions. These include pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, premenstrual syndrome, painful menstruation and painful intercourse. He manages endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, Bartholin cyst, sexually transmitted infections and postpartum fever.
