Prof. Turgay Çelikel is a seasoned thoracic oncologist with deep expertise in lung cancer and chest diseases. He completed a Thoracic Oncology fellowship at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston (1984–1985), and has been a key member of Acibadem Health Group since 2005. His clinical practice and research focus on improving diagnosis and treatment for thoracic malignancies and complex respiratory disorders. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), Oncology Association, Respiratory Research Association, and Toracs Association.
