Prof. Faruk Suat Dede is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a strong clinical, academic, and organizational background. He graduated from Kafkas University Faculty of Medicine and earned his professorship in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2013. Since 2015 he has been affiliated with Acıbadem Health Group, where he contributes to patient care, teaching, and clinical leadership. His expertise spans urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery, reproductive health, infertility, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He is active in both national and international professional communities, holding memberships in the Turkish Society of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, the Turkish Society for Reproductive Health and Infertility (TSRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), among others. Prof. Dede has taken on multiple leadership and advisory roles: president of the Kars branch of the Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Society (TJOD), member of hospital ethics and quality management committees, and participant in several Ministry of Health commissions and scientific committees—covering pregnancy education, assisted reproductive treatment methods (ART), and postpartum care programs. He is also involved with the Minimally Invasive Gynecology Association (MIJID), the Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (JED), the Family Planning Association of Turkey, and contributed to hospital ISO 9000 quality system efforts. Known for combining surgical skill with evidence-based care and service development, Prof. Dede is dedicated to improving women’s health through clinical excellence, education, and health policy engagement.
