Prof. Muzaffer Olcay Çizmeli is a board-certified radiologist with a medical degree from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine (1987) and more than three decades of clinical and leadership experience. He has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2007, contributing to advanced diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services. An active contributor to the professional community, he is a founding member of both the Turkish Society of Radiology and the Turkish Society of Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology. He also holds memberships in numerous national and international organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, Istanbul Medical Chamber, Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology, Turkish Neuroradiology Society, Medical Informatics Association, European Society of Radiology (ESR), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (SCVIR), and the American Roentgen Ray Society. Beyond clinical practice, he is involved in governance and industry: serving as Vice Chairman of the Board at Sevgi Investment Holding, Assistant Chairman at Sevgi Özel Sağlık Hizmetleri A.Ş., and board member at Bilgi Yönetim Sistemleri A.Ş., Sevgi Dış Ticaret A.Ş., and SEBIT A.Ş. He has also served on the selection committee as Chairman for the M.D. Hatice Özcanlı Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology Science Award and holds a board position with the Turkish Volleyball Federation. Prof. Çizmeli combines clinical excellence, organizational leadership, and a commitment to advancing radiology and interventional practice through education, professional societies, and health services management.
