Prof. Özgür Yağmur is a board-certified surgeon with specialized training in hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery and transplantation. He completed advanced fellowship training at the Yale New Haven Transplantation Center in 2013, focusing on complex HPB procedures and transplant care. Earlier in his career, he gained clinical experience with the Acıbadem Health Group in 2011. His clinical interests include liver and pancreatic surgery, colorectal surgery, and care of trauma and critically ill surgical patients. He is committed to multidisciplinary, evidence-based care and to advancing surgical outcomes through education and collaboration. Prof. Yağmur is an active member of several national and international professional organizations: the Turkish Surgical Association, Turkish Trauma Association, Çukurova Surgical Association, Turkish HPB Association, Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
