Prof. Ersin Erek is a pediatric cardiovascular surgeon with board specialization in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery (2011). He has been a member of the surgical staff at Acibadem Health Group since 2002, bringing more than two decades of clinical experience in congenital and pediatric heart surgery. His professional affiliations include the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery and the European Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He is also active in national organizations: Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, Turkish Society of Cardiology, Turkish Society of Pediatric Cardiology, and the Turkish Medical Association (Istanbul Medical Chamber). Prof. Erek combines specialized surgical training with extensive hands-on experience treating complex pediatric cardiac conditions, contributing to both clinical care and multidisciplinary collaboration in cardiovascular medicine.
