Prof. Nazim Korkut is a seasoned otorhinolaryngologist and professor with a medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1999). Since 2008 he has been affiliated with Acibadem Health Group, where he applies extensive clinical and surgical expertise in ear, nose, throat, head and neck care. An active contributor to both national and international professional communities, he holds memberships and founding roles in numerous organizations, including the Cochlear Implant Council at I.Ü. Cerrahpaşa, the Istanbul ENT Head and Neck Surgery Specialists Association, and the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association. He is a founding member of the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, the Facial Plastic Surgery Association, and the Laryngology Association, and helped establish the European Association of Otology and Neurotology. Additional affiliations include the Anatomy Research Society, Turkish Rhinology Association, European Rhinologic Society, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. His career blends clinical practice, surgical innovation, and professional leadership, with a focus on advancing care in cochlear implantation, rhinology, facial plastic surgery, and laryngology.
