CAN GÖNEN

Prof. Can Gönen is a distinguished gastroenterologist with a strong clinical and academic background. He earned his associate professorship at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2011 and currently practices with the Acibadem Health Group since 2019. Prof. Gönen is actively involved in professional societies related to his field, including ECCO (European Crohn’s and Colitis Organization), ESGE (European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society, the Turkish Association for Liver Research, the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association, and the Turkish Gastroenterology Association. His work focuses on advanced endoscopic practice and the management of inflammatory bowel and liver diseases, combining clinical care with ongoing engagement in specialty organizations.
