She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, the European Association for the Study of Liver Disease, the Turkish Liver Research Association, the Turkish Gastroenterology Association and the National Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association. Her published work includes articles on the management of chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C in journals such as Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Gut.
Clinical focus
A central part of Dr. Yapalı’s practice is the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. She performs endoscopy as part of the assessment and follow-up of digestive conditions.
